MedLic was founded in mid-2008. MedLic manages and maintains an online medical database for every member and works side by side with all U.S. Territories, North American Tribal Commissions and Canadian Athletic Commissions to ensure that each fighter has his or her up-to-date medical records downloaded for quick and accurate access to expedite the licensing process. This is the first and original implemented medical record database in the U.S. that provides a centralized location for all U.S. Territories, North American Tribal Commissions and Canadian Athletic Commissions in obtaining fighter medical records. MedLic provides fighters with services that include, but are not limited to, access to the MedLic medical network composed of physicians and other medical professionals dealing specifically with athletic issues and a medical database that stores all of their current and historical medical reports which is securely encrypted and can only be accessed by MedLic and the Athletic Commissions to safely and securely obtain a fighter's medical records in order to license them in that state or country.
Not only does MedLic assist the Athletic Commissions in the licensing of all fighters, MedLic delves deeper into the sport and assist Promoters, Managers and the individual fighters themselves with current licensing requirements, forms or any other assistance in their attempt to obtain a license to compete in that particular state or country. To ensure that all our members' needs are met, MedLic has enlisted a network of sports medicine doctors and specialized doctors to help our Members manage their medical and licensing requirements.
